A bridge between tradition and innovation
Francesca Campo is an Italian harpist and music researcher whose work bridges tradition and innovation. Born to Sicilian parents and raised in Verona, she grew up between two Italies — and turned that double identity into the heart of her artistic voice.
Raised in Verona by Sicilian parents, initiating early roots and study of the harp.
Graduated with high honors from the State Conservatory of Turin, specializing in classical harp repertoire.
Completed Master of Music at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, launching 'The Echo from the People'.
Semifinalist at the 9th World Harp Competition, the only Italian among the 13 semifinalists, competing with the research programme itself.

'Cialoma' was the rhythmic chant of Sicily's tuna fishermen — a collective voice that carried their labour and bound them together as a community; from its Arabic root it came to mean the mingling of many different voices into one.
